Quickie-Tote Bag

It's a quickie tote-bag, I made it in only 2 days (for Crocheting..it's a way fun project coz it doesn't take a long time for you to complete it. I got the pattern from japanese e-book of which I will share the pattern with you in this post. As you notice, I add white flower there and red ribbon. it's a brooch. And how to make this brooch just check out my previous pattern in label 'brooch' or ''flower brooch'.



Before you all of this, just crochet according to the pattern. (For those who confuse with japanese chart, just leave me a comment...I'll help you out) Firstly, you need fabric to wrap the inside of the bag. I use Purple ^^ i like its color. SO STAND OUT!!! yea...



just make a simple pouch. You can use sew machine or by hand, whatever way you'll do it just great.I have old sew machine, and I'm not able to sew anything yet complicated..so just bear with me and do whatever you wish with the pouch (lol)....sorry, I'll fix my manner later



Then put the pouch inside. The thread ouside, so the sew line will be hidden.



Then just sew the top of the pouch..like wat I always say..SIMPLE IS ALWAYS BEST!!




lasty, tie the ribbon like in the picture. Then just put on your brooch on top of it.

NOW...VOILA.....If only I'm a jellyfish, i ll make sure to make other bag with my other hand.

Circle LOwer Bag

You must be questioning why I'm being such a jerk in naming things. my answer would be: "In the World of Arts, Freedom are Gained, Nothing is Sin"
Am I a joker? no, I'm just being simple. And art is a matter of simplicity :)
ok...I'm just kidding. I'm a joker..Happy?
Today post will be this bag.
Lower bag...I dunno why this name is so enchanting (again).
I got the pattern, and I do a bit modification.
Bout the making of that yellow flower just search under my label titled 'brooch' or 'flower brooch'.
Before this tutorial of completing this bag. just crochet like usual according to the pattern (posted bellow this post)



use this attachment button (I don't wat it's called..it's in japanese..lol...so just pretend that you familiar with this button..should I call it ninja Button??). so again, use this ninja button. sew it in this place to make the bag neat.



Now, tie the ribbon (use any ribbon you have...like me. I'm lazy to buy another ribbon). Remember me. SIMPLICITY IS ART! (wait...don't call me stingy...coz you just stab my back..geez....)




Final touch, put your brooch on top of that ribbon.

Here is the pattern, which one is look nicer?? when you look at the pattern, you'll just know what modification I made.



One for all, I don't have that kind of handle. that handle must be pretty expensive. so please don't bring up bout that handle again (teary eyes). I change the handle with quickie string of line made of grey yarn and yellow yarn.
just make chains (the length is up to u) with grey yarn). Then slip stitch it with yellow yarn.



Another modification is the part where i sew the 'ninja button'. basically if you don't use big yarn for this pattern, you will only got small circle. And if you follow this pattern out, the bag you made just stay flat.
so here are my modification:

Step 1. After you make that circle, CH 1, and SC in each chain. finish the round with slip stitch.
Step 2. Repeat step 1
Step 3. Chain 3, 1 DC. then chain 2, 2 DC in 3rd chain. do it for the remaining chain.
Step 4. DC in each chain
Step 5. repeat step 4 (make 3/4 of the circle)
Step 6. repeat step 3 (make 3/4 of the circle)

Make this two circle like this and combine it (the 3/4 part only). u can sew or just slip stitch to combine it. don forget to sew the 'ninja button also'. Make yellow lining on top of this bag to make it just sweet and neat.

REd Hat

It happened many days ago...when the clouds like to cry an sent me a package to soak my raincoat (oh yeah...now my raincoat got torn, and I still saving to buy new one...GREAT!!)
so here we are. I went to a craft store near my college. And I found this yarn bout $1.5 its Rp 15000 in indonesia. quite expensive for a yarn. I buy 3 bundle of yarns. 2 Red and one yellow. And I decide to make hat (modified from a pattern that I had). the one in the picture is me (lol) don't laugh...I got no money to hire any model yet.

Bracelet

I'm back again. I just click 'book' under the category of ninimakes.typepad.com and VOILA! I found this picture:



and she wrote this, "This was a surprise, because it was so quick & easy to make. I'd made the flower from a felted bit of dyed blanket ages ago and it had been sitting next to my sewing machine (along with too many other things) for ages. So I finally stitched an elasticated bracelet for it, added leaves and voila. A little pin ditty for my wrist."
See..well..i got a goosebumps after looking at picture and decide to make something looks like that by crochet (hopefully it's gonna be a big hit).

And yea...i saw this picture also:



she got it made of cloth i think...but could we just make it using gift paper?? (well..let me know if it work out)

This is a very quickie project, i made it in short time after i lost my phone leather pouch. not bad huh? well basically a pouch is to protect your phone from scratch and this wrinkly (because it's wrinkle..lol)PB (Pink and Blue)pouch can do the job very well.
to make this pouch is very simple.
#1 just prepare your yarn. any yarn is okay. mine is cheap yarn lol but it does the trick. its price is only Rp 4500 or $0.45
#2 make a chain. just match the length with your phone. to measure it just circles your phone with the chain you make.
#3 SC in second chain. Sc in the remaining chain.
#4 to make next line. just CH 1 and SC in the remaining
#5 continue until your crochet are on your desired height
#6 Slip stitch to join the crochet into pouch
#7 use button on top and make cover for it (you can design it by urself) be free!

Doilies

I ran into this tablecloth (maybe)..well Some call it doily or doilies. I wonder what it means. Maybe it just one of the variations of crochet (with white thread)like fillet crochet. lol..I'm gonna crazy in defining terms.

Good news for you, I also found it's pattern..so I hope you'll like this post (hopefully). I want to try to make it. It looks easy for beginner, but I still got 2 projects in progress right now. So you can try this pattern first and tell me your progress with it!! Fighting!

honestly, I don't understand pattern using this convention. is there anybody who can transcribe the abreviation there? (i just know common abbrev such as SC, HDC, DC only)
